Los Angeles is another must-visit city in California. I spent a couple of days in LA, and I’d like to share the locations I explored. I’ll also mention a few additional spots that I think are worth considering, so you can add them to your itinerary if you have the time.

There are a couple of beaches I’d like to mention, but this is absolutely the first one to highlight. Santa Monica Pier is where the iconic Route 66 officially ends, making it a significant landmark for road trippers and history enthusiasts alike.
The pier features a charming amusement park with rides, games, and an arcade, providing fun for visitors of all ages. In addition, you'll find numerous restaurants and bars nearby, perfect for enjoying a meal or a drink with stunning ocean views. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with beautiful sunsets and the sound of the waves, makes Santa Monica Pier a must-visit destination when you're in Los Angeles.
This is the second beach you need to visit while you’re in LA. You can stroll along the oceanfront walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops and boutiques to pick up gifts for friends or treat yourself. Venice Beach is home to several iconic locations that are worth checking out, and they’re all close together, so visiting them won’t take much time from your holiday.
Be sure to stop by:
Venice Beach Skatepark: A legendary spot where you can watch skilled skateboarders showcase their talents.
Venice Public Art Walls: This outdoor gallery features vibrant murals and street art, reflecting the creative spirit of the area.
Muscle Beach Venice Gym: An iconic outdoor gym where bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts have trained for decades.
Griffith Observatory offers stunning views of Los Angeles from its hilltop location, making it a must-visit destination. Inside the observatory, you’ll find a fascinating museum with exhibits on astronomy and space science. The iconic planetarium shows are also a highlight.
From the Charlie Turner Trailhead nearby, you can capture fantastic photos of the Hollywood Sign, adding to the experience. Whether you're interested in the stars or just want to take in the breathtaking views, Griffith Observatory is a perfect spot for both education and exploration!
I mean I dont think it is not the most fascinating thing in the world but since your are in the LA lets visit it.

To be honest, I expected the Hollywood Walk of Fame to be cleaner, especially given its significance, but it’s definitely worth a visit while you’re in LA. With over 2,600 stars honoring celebrities from various fields, it’s a unique experience to see the names of your favorite stars. Make sure to plan ahead and know which stars you want to visit, as the walk stretches about a mile. Trust me, you don’t want to end up walking the entire length like I did!
I loved this beach. It is a really nice location to watch the sunset. If you have one or two more extra day. You can visit here.

Having visited the theme parks in Florida, I wasn’t particularly inclined to visit this one; however, if you’ve never been to a theme park in the U.S., I highly recommend checking it out. Universal Studios Hollywood offers a unique blend of thrilling rides, immersive attractions, and behind-the-scenes tours of real movie sets. It’s definitely a fun experience, especially for fans of movies and entertainment.
Similar to Universal Studios, I didn’t visit Disneyland Park since I’ve been to the one in Florida. However, it’s a fantastic option, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Known as "The Happiest Place on Earth," Disneyland offers a magical experience with classic rides, beloved characters, and enchanting shows.
A stunning art museum with impressive collections, beautiful gardens, and breathtaking views of the city. It’s free to enter (though parking has a fee), making it a great addition to your itinerary.
Couple recommendations which as a coffee shop and restaurant.
